At Outlaw Arts we are committed to providing an inclusive & safe environment for all, regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, national origin, or religion.
Conduct
It is the responsibility of all participants, including teachers, members, guests and students to:
Respect and honor the quiet, focused work that is the essence of ceramics.
Foster a supportive learning community.
Maintain the safety and welfare of all members in our community.
Respect the rights of others, engage in thoughtful discourse, and refrain from harassment or discrimination.
Inclusion
Inclusion, common sense and consideration for others are what we aim to practice at all times.
Unacceptable behaviors include:
Intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory or demeaning conduct by anyone towards another person whether in the studio, outside in the parking lot, or at an event in which we are participating.
Consequences
Outlaw Arts reserves the right to remove anyone, including teachers, members, guests and students who engage in any disruptive, disrespectful, and/or unlawful behaviors. Anyone made aware of unacceptable behavior is expected to comply with Outlaw Arts policies immediately. If a participant engages in unacceptable behavior, Outlaw Arts leadership will take any appropriate action, as necessary, including expulsion from class or membership without refund.
If you are a participant at Outlaw Arts, and witness or are subject to unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please notify the Outlaw Arts leadership as soon as possible: (267) 650-1757.
Age
Presently membership and enrollment in classes are for ages 18 and up. Members may bring guests who are younger, but must take full responsibility for their guests including behavior, appropriate use of tools, materials and equipment, safety, and clean up.
Liability
Teachers, members, guests and students participate in offerings at Outlaw Arts at their own personal liability and agree to waive and release Outlaw Arts leadership and representatives from any and all claims.
Access
The studio space at Outlaw Arts is wheelchair accessible, although the bathroom is not ADA compliant. Our basement storge and kiln area is also not accessible. Please let us know if you have any special needs or limitations.
