The transformative, malleable qualities of clay touches me  deeply. The clay directs me, I guide  the clay, together we make something.

For me there's the form - the physicality of the clay, which has no beginning or end. There's the surface like a blank piece of paper awaiting my story. I bring something into being which never existed before.  Behold.
